UPDATE: 15:40 Interior Health has confirmed that the outbreak at Penticton Regional Hospital’s addiction treatment unit has seven patient cases. On the sixth floor of the hospital there are five cases of patients. No deaths have been associated with either outbreak. ORIGINAL: 11 a.m Interior Health has reported two active cases of COVID-19 on wards at Penticton Regional Hospital. The first outbreak, announced on November 2, is in the rehab unit. The second, announced on November 8, is located in the David E. Kampe Tower, level 6. There are currently four active cases of COVID-19 in Internal Health, all in the Okanagan. In Summerland, an outbreak was declared on October 31 at the long-term care home of Dr. Andrew Pavillion and Kelowna has a new breakout at the Sun Pointe Village long-term care home starting November 8th.
