Sault Ste. Marie OPP reported in a press release that police officers spoke to the driver at the scene of the collision and transported them to Sault Ste. Marie for further sobriety test. Kelly Morris has been charged with two counts of surgery while in disability. The full OPP press release is published below. On June 17, 2022 shortly after 1 a.m., members from Sault Ste. An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment with the assistance of the Anishinabek Police Department responded to a collision with a motor vehicle parked in the car park on Highway 638 in Echo Bay City. Police officers rushed a little while later and located the vehicle. Talking to the driver, the police found that he had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to Sault Ste. Operation with problems – alcohol and drugs, in contrast to article 320.14 (1) (a) of the Penal Code (CC) Operation while it is reduced – concentration of alcohol in the blood (80+), in contrast to article 320.14 (1) (b) of K.K.
Defendant is scheduled to appear before an Ontario court in Sault Ste Marie on July 25, 2022. Defendant was issued a driving license suspension (ADLS) for 90 days and the vehicle was confiscated for seven days.
