Firefighters in Conception Bay South were called to an early morning house fire, but the family and their pets were not injured. The fire broke out at about 2am in a building on the main highway in Kelligrews on Pond Road. The building contained a commercial and residential property. The RNC reports the fire caused extensive damage to the exterior and moderate damage to the interior. Police investigators will be at the scene today.
