Belleville police say they have arrested a suspect after a pursuit in an unusual vehicle Friday night. The suspect was driving a skid steer tractor. Police were called to the university in the industrial park after reports of a suspicious vehicle. After locating the vehicle and determining that it was the tractor, they attempted to stop the vehicle. The operator did not stop for the police. Police chased the skid steer for over an hour before the vehicle stopped and the operator was taken into custody. Belleville Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking witnesses to call them at 613-966-0882
