According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham have already contacted Leeds, who are open to selling Rafinha this summer, if their valuation – believed to be around 60 60 million – is satisfied. The Whites are also waiting for an approach from Arsenal. Rafinha’s agent, Deco, reportedly had meetings with the Gunners’ technical director, Edu, which fueled speculation that the North Londoners would make an offer for the coveted striker. Tottenham are said to be holding out hope that Rafinha’s desire to play in the Champions League will help their chances of completing a coup. Rafinha has two years left on his contract with Leeds, but is ready to leave Eland Road ahead of the World Cup this winter. The player’s preferred destination remains Barcelona, however, the Catalan club that has no cash is unlikely to be able to afford him this summer.
