$500,000 goal November 12, 2022 | 7:00 AM Alberta Lung is launching a Christmas decal campaign in an effort to raise $500,000. Nearly 900,000 Albertans live, or sadly die, with lung and respiratory diseases each year, the agency says. The sticker campaign will fund world-class research, programs and services to help Albertans with lung disease, with 100% of funds raised for Alberta Lives. “Our lungs, like our heart and brain, are not optional. they have to work to live,” explains Leigh Allard, CEO Alberta Lung. “Some people inherit lung conditions, some acquire them from work and life, and some are exposed to viruses and infections that cause serious, and sometimes life-threatening, conditions.
