Jason Nixon, the current Secretary of the Environment and Parks, will become Treasury Secretary and Treasury Secretary – a role he played on a temporary basis when Travis Tous announced his leadership campaign. Whitney Issik is the new Minister for the Environment and Parks following her tenure as Undersecretary of State for Women. This ministerial post will go to Jackie Armstrong Homeniuk, MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville. Matt Jones, MLA for Calgary-South East, will take over Rebecca Schulz’s old job as Minister for Child Services after resigning to become party leader. Prasad Panda, the current Minister of Infrastructure, will replace Rajan Soney as Minister of Transport. Sawhney is also taking part in the UCP leadership race. Nicholas Milliken, Calgary-Currie MLA, will be Minister of Infrastructure. Brad Rutherford, deputy government whip and Leduc-Beaumont MLA, is now the head of government whip and minister without portfolio.
