By Declan Finucane Posted June 21, 2022 at 3:49 pm A teacher at a Mississauga high school has been charged with sexual exploitation after a young man was approached and asked to have sex on several occasions. Peel District Police do not say which high school the teacher works for, nor do they disclose information about whether the alleged victim was a student at that high school. According to investigators from the Special Victims Unit of Peel Police, a man allegedly called the young man for sex on several occasions between September and November 2019. The young man refused the advances, police say. Investigators arrested a man on Monday (June 20th). Daniel Hayes, 40, of Guelph, is accused of sexual exploitation. Booked for a bail hearing. The investigation continues and the police want to talk to anyone else who has information.
