At around 22:35 on Monday night (June 20), West Yorkshire police were called to the Lodge Terrace following reports that a man had been attacked. Upon arrival, forces found that he had injuries to his face, back and shoulder. It comes after the man complained to a group of five young people between the ages of 18 and 20 that he was too strong and that he was engaging in antisocial behavior in Trentham Park. A forensic examination was carried out at the scene and the investigation is ongoing as police call for witnesses to come. Read more: My life with cancer at 26, by Leeds mom who spent weeks on chemotherapy Detective Inspector James Entwistle of the Leeds District CID said: “It was a completely unprovoked attack on the victim as he complained about the group’s behavior that caused a disturbance in the area late at night. “We are taking this incident very seriously and are conducting extensive investigations to locate and arrest those responsible. “We would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident or saw the team in the park and has any information that could help locate them. “We recognize that an incident of this nature will cause understandable concern in the community and we are working closely with our colleagues in the local neighborhood policing team, who will maintain an increased presence in the area to reassure people.” West Yorkshire Police confirmed: “Detectives are appealing for information after a man was stabbed when he confronted young people for antisocial behavior in a Leeds park. At 22:35 last night, police were called to the Lodge Terrace in Beeston, where the 31-year-old man had been attacked. The victim had puncture wounds to the back and shoulder and a wound to the face. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. His injuries were not considered life-threatening. He had been attacked by five men after complaining of noise and antisocial behavior from a group of young people in Trentham Park. “The suspects were described as black men, aged 18 to 20.
