A Man Has Been Arrested In Connection With The Murder Of A Woman In Brampton

Shortly before 6 a.m. Friday, police were called to the address near Aloma Crescent Avenue and Avondale in the area of ​​Bramalea Street and Steeles Avenue.
The initial call was for disturbance, but as soon as he visited the scene, the police located an adult woman suffering from obvious signs of trauma.  Her death was confirmed at the scene.
Twenty-nine-year-old Alfonso Ritchie, from Brampton, has been identified as a suspect.  Police say he was the woman’s “intimate partner”.
On Sunday, Peel police tweeted that they had arrested Ritchie and charged him.
