The Reds are already busy getting new players with Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsay all arriving this summer, while players like Divock Origi and Sadio Mane saying goodbye. It’s another summer of change for Jurgen Klopp’s team and new experiences will also bring many players from the club’s academy next season. The club will seek to identify the best for each player who has seen a series of loan spells end prematurely last season, with production experience paramount. And Goal Neil Jones predicts that at least eight young Reds will agree to a loan change for 2022/23.

Conor Bradley

Appearances: 5Previous loan experience: None The 18-year-old made his debut for Liverpool last season and has since been confirmed to be temporarily moving to Bolton in League One. Bradley is more than capable of moving to the Championship, but the regular time of the match with Bolton will not be overlooked by the player or the Reds as he continues to grow.

Sep van den Berg

Appearances: 4Previous lending experience: Preston (2020/21 – half season, 2021/22) Enjoying one of the most successful lending experiences of recent years, Van den Berg can diversify his experiences beyond Preston next season. It is possible that he will be involved in some aspects of Liverpool’s preparation, but with a handful of center-backs at Klopp’s disposal, his development seems ready for another temporary change.

Owen Beck

Appearances: 2Previous loan experience: None The left-back was a top under-23 player last season and was rewarded with first-team experience and has now attracted suitors from the Premier League, the Championship and across Europe. It seems the right next step for the 19-year-old with Andy Robertson and Costas Tsimikas in front of him in the first team.

Leighton Clarkson

Appearances: 3Previous lending experience: Blackburn (2021/22 – half season) The 20-year-old is one of the most mature names on the list and since his time with Blackburn ended prematurely so he returned to the academy, getting his destination right is the key. The midfielder is extremely talented and Liverpool will need assurances about the time of the match in whatever deal they make, as they do with all the loan players, and another Championship team could fit.

Paul Glatzel

Views: 0 Previous loan experience: Tranmere (2021/22) The striker joined League Two’s Tranmere last season in a mixed situation, as the injury wreaked havoc again in his year, but he managed to establish himself at the club. With a contract until 2023, it is a big year ahead for the 21-year-old.

Billy Koumetio

Appearances: 2Previous loan experience: None The central defender was largely invisible in Klopp’s first team compared to the 2020/21 season and after an academy-level campaign, he is waiting for his time to take a step up in the normal action of the seniors.

Reese Williams

Appearances: 19Previous lending experience: Kidderminster Harriers (2019/20), Swansea (2021/22 – half season) To build on his groundbreaking season, Williams went to Swansea early last season, but remained on the sidelines before returning to Liverpool early. He is willing to make sure that such an experience does not happen again and to show what he is “capable of”. The Championship could come once again.

Vitezslav Jaros

Appearances: 0Previous lending experience: St. Patrick’s Athletic (2021), Notts County (2021/22 – half season) Jaros enjoyed two productive loan spells last year and after some time in the National League and the Irish Premier Division, a promotion to the league could certainly be right for the talented keeper.
